Maker Faire is a gathering of fascinating, curious people who enjoy learning and who love sharing what they can do. From engineers to artists to scientists to crafters, Maker Faire is a venue for these "makers" to show hobbies, experiments, projects.
We call it the Greatest Show (& Tell) on Earth - a family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity, and resourcefulness.
Glimpse the future and get inspired!
Prince George’s Mini Maker Faire is back! Join us on Saturday, September 22nd, from 10am – 3pm for a day of Show and Tell that’s all grown up with elements of science fair, craft fair and inventions!
Mini Maker Faire showcases the amazing work of all sorts and ages of Makers — anyone who embraces the do-it-yourself spirit and enjoys making things. The event will be spread throughout Canada Games Plaza, Two Rivers Gallery and the downtown Prince George Public Library. Makers will be showcasing tech projects, artwork, soap making, textile and fibre work, Lego construction, woodworking and more.
There will also be a hands-on component for visitors wanting to try out some of these activities themselves.
Admission to the Faire is free, however there will be some stations selling handmade projects that you won’t find anywhere else and food vendors will be set up throughout the event. We’ll also have live entertainment throughout the day.
Join us for the fourth annual Prince George Mini Maker Faire. See it… try it… be inspired!
